A website for a Queensland electrical contractor contractor
GNB do electrical and civil work right across Queensland. Powerlines, traffic signals, fibre cabling and street lighting.

Who they are
GNB started in 2014 with two blokes. Today they have more than fifty people on the tools — electricians, linesmen, fibre techs and operators — working on roads, subdivisions and government projects across Queensland.
The problem
Two completely different people needed the website, and they wanted opposite things. A project manager at a big builder wants to know, in about ten seconds, whether GNB can handle a job that size. An electrician looking for work wants to know what the job is like and how to apply. One site had to do both without either group getting lost.
What we did
We split the site clearly. Capability pages that answer the builder's question fast — what GNB does, what gear they own, what they have worked on. And a careers section written for someone reading it on a phone in a ute, not sitting at a desk.
The enquiry form
Most contractor sites have a form that just says name, email, message. Then someone has to ring back and ask five questions before they can even start quoting. We built one that asks the right things up front, so the job details land in the inbox ready to price.
What came next
The website was the first job. GNB later asked for something for the crews themselves — a register that checks the daily paperwork across every crew on both their motorway projects. Read that story.
How it turned out
The site loads fast on a phone, which matters when half your readers are on site. GNB can point a client at one page instead of emailing a PDF. And the enquiries that come through have enough in them to be useful.

Five crews, four exports and twenty minutes of checking every morning. Now it is one screen and a list of names to ring.

Retail · Two stores
Rosters in one spreadsheet, sales in another, stock in a group chat. We put all three in one place the owner can open on a phone.

Art sessions · Brisbane
Paint-and-sip sessions were being booked by phone and message. We built a platform where people pick a session and book it themselves.
